CALERO ALTERNATIVE HIGH SCHOOL
Location: East Side Union High School District, San Jose, CA
Project Description: Calero High School is a small Alternative High School of Choice targeting students who have not found success at a large comprehensive high school. Calero is located in south San Jose at 420 Calero Avenue. This campus was purchased from the Oak Grove School District. SFA was hired to convert this campus from a 40 year old (never renovated) elementary school to a freshly updated Alternative High School. This project was completed in 2013 at a cost of $8 million.
