Project
Architects - Civic and/or Education Projects
This position requires an individual with a minimum
of 5 years of architectural project management experience. The
candidate should be able to demonstrate extensive experience in all
phases of project management, from initial programming to project
close-out. Responsibilities include consultant coordination, client
management, and the ability to contribute and participate in
marketing efforts. Master planning & sustainable design
experience is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft
Project, and AutoCAD 2004 is required. California License and
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture is also required.
Job Captain
Oversee small to medium-sized projects; supervise
and assign duties to project team members (includes CAD Drafters) and
monitor their progress; communicate and interface with clients to
establish and finalize program requirements; prepare colored drawings
and renderings for presentation to clients; coordinate and prepare
Construction Documents with other design sub-consultants; and
coordinate with Government Approval Agencies during their review and
approval process. Will work under direct supervision of a
licensed architect. This position is full time; 40 hours per week. This
position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Architecture
plus 3 years experience in architectural documentation and
design. Special requirements include experience with: UBC and
ADA regulations; AutoCAD 2004; preparing conceptual, preliminary and
construction documents; preparing floor plan layouts and elevations;
and project coordination. California License is not required, but
desirable.
Senior CAD
Drafter / CAD Drafter
This opening requires an individual with 2 to 5
years of AutoCAD experience with knowledge of computers and various
software applications. 3D design and rendering experience is a plus. A
general knowledge of design development, construction document
production, building materials and detailing is necessary. Training and
mentoring will take place within the Project Design Team.
Bachelor's
Degree in Architecture and California License are not required, but
desirable.
